COURTNEY MIKAELA 

Courtney Mikaela is an artist from the Adelaide Hills, recognised for her vibrant mixed media artworks. Inspired by the country landscape she calls home, Courtney Mikaela’s work is a delicate balance of detail and abstraction, reflecting nature’s harmonious blend of playful movements and moments of stillness. Courtney is fascinated by the potential of combining mediums, working primarily in acrylics, oils and charcoal.

 

Courtney was selected as a finalist in the Bluethumb Art Prize 2022, and exhibited in the Art Gallery of New South Wales as a finalist in the 2020 Artstart Emerging Art Prize. This year Courtney hosted her third successful solo exhibition as part of SALA Festival, where she debuted her latest collection of landscapes ‘Places of Calm’, in collaboration with Bentley Adelaide. Her work has also been featured in the pages of Vanity Fair UK, British Vogue and Belle Australia.
